I have a 10th Anniversary RX-7 and I live in the Kansas City, KS area. Does anyone know of a capable and reputable person/garage/company that can restore my car? It hasn't run in 12 years so it needs some work.

Banzai is nearly 500 miles away, but probably is your best bet. Rotary shops are few and far between.

Nearly the same distance is Rotary Performance in DFW, who is very much still around but you never really hear their name thrown around anymore.

FWIW, I live in DFW and still sent my engine up to Banzai for rebuild amd porting.

 

I can help. I'm not a repair shop, just another RX-7 enthusiast. I've restored several first gens and restored a 1979 RX-7 about four years ago for another forum member. If your willing to get your hands dirty, I have a 40x60 pole barn and a four post Bendpak lift and all the tools. I'm not in it for the money. We can try and get it running as is first. I'm not an engine rebuilder.

I also do my own powder coating.
