Hi,

Can anyone help me with the following challenge.
I am trying to make a few pieces "custom shaped" rubber seals for my projectcar.
I am using standard seals wherever I can, but in some sports (i.e. corners) I must "make" the shape myself and in other spots I have to glue/vulcanize or maybe "melt" some standard rubber parts together to finish it.
I have tried superglue: it bonds the parts together, but makes the rubber hard on the bonding spot.
I have tried silicone rubber: It is possible (within limitations) to form some kind of "shape" while it is fresh from the container and remains in shape after setting, but wil not bond to rubber parts.
Anyone experminted with other techniques? Any idea is welcome since this is keeping me from staring the last phase of my Targa Project.
