MA Rusted Chasis

Hey,
I just got word from my pops that my car isn't in bad shape because of the frame. I have a feeling he was just upset that I had purchased the car in the first place, but he has me twisting and turning in bed thinking that while I'm driving, the chassis might just break down on me. I've seen someone restore the actual body frame right in front of my eyes so I KNOW that's possible. Is it possible to restore chassis parts? PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP!

For those who've actually read this, here's an update:

The car is fully functional, and just waiting to be register'd. We welded all the bad guys, and got new rotors and new coil springs. Engine runs beautiful. The car WILL be restored, and WILL turn heads as a daily driver, driven by a 19 year old teen who works at a hospital. This WILL be fun. lol

I think it would be like anything else. The condition of your starting point determines how much attention you'll need to provide to get to your desired finishing point.

i.e. if you have a rusted chassis, you'll need to put more effort into removing rust and restoring chassis rigidity before moving on to the fun stuff.

I wish you luck. I'm also in the process of starting a FD project. I'm curious to see how your restoration goes.
