Unhappy rusted brake line bolts...

whats the best way to loosen the nuts that hold the rubber lines to the steel lines?
i used a 10mm along with wd-40 and ended up rounding one nut off.

Buy some PB Blaster and let it soak for a while. WD40 doesn't work very well as a penetrant. WD40 = Water Displacement formula 40. PB Blaster is a penetrant specifically designed for situations like this. Since you rounded off a bolt, you'll need to use a vice grip. I suggest you get the appropriate brake line tool for future use so you don't round off any more nuts.

Google for brake line wrench

I'm into the same issues with mine right now, I had to drill the head off with a drill bit then you can get in there with the WD40. You'll have to let it soak for a bit then try vise grips. I had to use a propane torch to heat mine but it's kinda scary around the gas lines.

Don't use vise grips, purchase or borrow flare-nut wrenches for the job.
