Rust Question
I took my 88 Vert to get aligned yesterday. The mechanics were able to align my nose, but said that my back was so incredibly rusty that they couldn't do anything about it. They said they couldn't use a torch because of the proximity of the fuel tank. What do you guys think about this? Is there anyway to repair the rust or am I just *** out of luck?

Must be talking about the rear trailing arm subframe bolts. These are a real pain and probably seized in place. The subframe will likely need to be dropped to allow removal and replacement of the bolts. The trailing arm bushings are likely done anyway...

The alignment bolts have an eccentric on them, so you'll need to order those from Mazda. All the other bolts are pretty standard, available at any fastener store.
