Rough idle

Hello,
my blow off hose tore while i was driving and caused my car to have rough idle and stall out. I tired to start it not knowing the hose was torn but it wouldn't turn on and it acted like the battery was dead. I replaced the line and the cars dash lit up like normal as the battery didn't just act dead. Now my whole car shakes at idle and has a nasty chop. It sounds like I'm running on one rotor but I don't understand how I lost a rotor when I have such low miles (under 30k) and have been on my maintenance on everything. I've never heard the car run without a boost leak that I fixed today (I have only owned for a few months) so it just might sound how it's supposed to but the shaking at idle is definitely not normal. It revs up really nice and sounds beautiful reving but idle sounds terrible. The form doesn't allow me to post a video but you can message me on Instagram (dolfs_custom_garage) for a video of how it's sounding.

well, mileage and maintenance will only get you so far. some engines only have to detonate once, and then it's over. others may survive.

can you clear up the part about driving around with a boost leak?

i think you should do a compression test and get something quantitative and then go from there.

i will look into how you post a video to the forum, then get back to you.

What I ment by driving around with a boost leak is the silcone hose that connects the turbo to the crossover pipe had a hole in it and made boost leak (only had 2psi of boost at any given time). I fixed it but then my idle became terrible and choppy. Made it sound like I was running on one rotor. I was supposed to get it tuned today but I messed up the schedule and now I gotta go Monday. With the boost leak I had 40 to 70 knock. When I fixed the boost leak my knock went to 135. I was getting 8 psi of boost and had the base map loaded on my apexi. The hose blew off today and now I'm running on only motor but the idle is perfect now and sounds beautiful again. I think it's probably a tuning issue and now it doesn't sound like I'm running on one rotor. What do you think?
