ROOM FUSE KEEPS BLOWING OUT - why?

Could someone tell me why my RX7 room fuse keeps blowing out. Is it a coincidence that I just had the fuel and oil filter changed at a dealership? I replaced the fuse two times and it blew out immediately upon driving the car.
I have a 1988 Mazda RX7 Turbo II

Sounds like maybe a short in the circuit. And I’m not seeing any connection to a filter change so yes, it’s a coincidence.
It’s also a 33 year old car...an “antique” in my state. Wire insulation rubbed thru on metal maybe, a lose connection that shorted somewhere...

Found the problem today - back up light switch grounding and fuse blow the interior gages. Need a Reverse Switch. Currently disconnected and now the fuse does not blow when putting in reverse.
