FL Reverse gone bad

I recently found out my reverse gear went bad, all other gears shift just fine, except the reverse. I have tryed turning the car with the reverse on to see if it will engage, but unscessful. Any advise on what could this be? Do I need a new transmition?

I'm in South FL where is a good place that I won't get rip off and what would be the approx. cost?

Thanks

If you don't want the hassle of taking things apart, try a junkyard for a used tranny.

My old trans had 2 blown syncros and I luckily found one on a non-running rx7.

if its an n/a you probably wont have much of an issue for finding a decent trans for around 100-300 dollars...people usually dont want them or swap them with the turbo trans
