Replacing blow off valve 88 rx7
i want to install it what do i do with the hose that goes stock bov to stock air box and i think there is one coming from the smog pump do i cap them sorry this is my first turbo thanks
There is no hose going from the stock bypass valve to the airbox. It connects to the S-shaped intake piece, which is attached to the AFM. You would have to find a way to cap this opening, since aftermarket BOVs vent to atmosphere.
There is also no connection from the air pump. There is however a hose going to the BAC valve that you would need to reconnect to the new piece of pipe. Disabling the BAC is not a good idea. It is there for idle stability. Having a connection welded on is the best idea, but a threaded fitting will work too.
