So I bought a new battery to put in my car and searched around to see if I had to do anything special to make sure something was not lost EC wise, but I found nothing. So tonight I pulled the old battery only to realize that the battery has the terminals on the wrong side, so I put the old one back in so I could swap the new one for a different one. Now my car sounds like just the gas pump is going and a a sound of a clicking noise. what should I do from here? Also the car ran just perfectly prior to pulling the battery.

 

Nevermind... just a battery that was too dead to start it....

 

Yeah, checking if the battery had enough power was the first thing to do.
