removing stock wing

So i still have the stock wing on my fd and i plan on taking it off. i know it is held down with 2 screws on each side. after removing the screws it is just being held with strong tape I'm guessing? whats the best and easiest way to remove the wing?

There is the foam gasketing and a couple of plastic snaps. You will probably tear the gasketing and break the snaps.

Are you getting the car or hatch repainted? If not it will look like crap.

If your car is white (which doesn't fade) and your paint is in good condition it might not be a big deal.

It's often easier to shop for a used hatch that didn't have the spoiler in the first place.
