Hey names Joel, looking at buying my friends efini rx7 (75,000km) for $8,500.
-i went and check it out the other day and it didn't wanna start when i tried starting it, i gave it extra gas but still wouldn't turn over. my friend hopped in and got it after a few trys.
-after that it sounded like it wanted to stall he revved it a bit and eventually idled at 900rpm but sounded like a vac leak somewhere.
-underneath there was a rear main leak, power steering line leaks.
- and what looked to be a waste gate pipe that looked like there use to be a hose attached, it ran out by the exhaust and looked like it was coming from the turbos area.
-and he told me that the old owner mentioned a disconnected plug and he showed me this plug and we both don't know what it is, if any one knows what this is that would be awesome.
-he had pulled over because of over heating a week ago and had it towed to his work, where he found to coolant reservoir leaking, which he replaced and did a coolant flush.
-so i asked if we could go for a drive and he was nervous at first but i said just around the dealership so, soon as we get onto the street and moving he mentions the heat, we go for one hard rip threw 1st,2nd and 3rd and he let off and instantly the heat light came on.
-going threw the gears he turbos spooled and pulled hard, torque threw out the revs and didn't seem to bog out after either.

is it worth $8,500 or should i just import under 50,000km for $13,000
