ON Rebuid

What's a standard Rebuid at a shop run ? looking at doing that or maybe doing it myself.

if i were you just do it yourself its really not too bad just have to pay attention to what our doing.

Unless you are confident doing it yourself (ie, have a good rotary background, and know the engine inside out) I would recommend taking it to a shop and having it done.

A rebuilt shortblock core will run 3000 and up depending on what all you want done. You might find it a little cheaper at some shops on here but i noticed you're from ontario so you would also have to pay shipping and handling.

For some reason, I remember an extremely knowledgeable and reputable member on here might be out of ontario, Aaron Cake i believe is the screen name. he might pop up in here. Good luck and welcome to rotary land

Head over to the Canadian forum because there is currently an active topic about rebuilders in the Ontario area (mostly around GTA).

For the record, I don't do work or build engines for others due to the immense pain in the *** that it is.

It is also certainly something you can do yourself if you have some mechanical experience and there are plenty of resources to help you along. For example, here's some videos I made of disassembling, cleaning and rebuilding an older 13B (basically the same procedure for any 12A and 13B):

i guess the nxt question is dose my car need a rebiuld so ill ask when the car is under load at 5 plus rpms the car stops pulin and pulses seenms to me its somethin with the secondary but all of you guys no better soo do you think it needs one??
