I have a 1989 mazda rx7 NA GTU. I swapped jdm turbo engine and manual transmission into the car. I am now swapping a 4.1 turbo differential into the rear end. Will the old half shafts work with the new differential or is it necessary to replace the half shafts with turbo halfshafts?

 

You will need turbo half shafts which are extremely hard to come by.

 

get a hold of Japan2LA on forum,he sells shafts.

 

I have 3 sets.. maybe only 2 sets as 1 set is pending sale with a complete swap...
