NC Rear Brake Caliper issues on FB's

Hi guys, new guy here. I am having trouble with the rear calipers in my FB. The previous owner really abused/neglected this car. It is an SCCA Improved Touring road race car. Eveidently at some point the rear wheel bearings must have got really bad and allowed the rotors to wear against the caliper brackets becasue the tabs that the outter pads sit on are half worn away. I would like to post some pics but am having some issues with my camera right now. Anyways, in trying to find a new set of brackets it wil lbe necesary to buy the whole caliper which I wouldnt mind, however the right rear caliper is nowere to be found, There are a lot of Left sides for sale on the internet, so I am just wondering is there some reason that the right ones wear out faster and have become so scarce. I mean does anyone else have experience that the right rear brakes are mor **** to problems leading to the percieved scarcity of right rear calipers?
