I'm slammed with coilovers on 18" rims and tucking a just a little tire. I think the tire is rubbing strait on top on the inner fender. (plastic inner fender removed). Question is has anyone had to cut out or modify the actual inner fender to get low?

 

No. Although I am against slamming the RX-7 on its "Nuts", the FC gets "down" and "dirty" just fine. Most people run a smaller tire, stiff springs and pound the metal with a sledge.....which i don't condone.

 

yes i have cut, removed, and welded in and seam sealed it up

i added some DOM to the firewall area. my car has tons of room up front super low
