ME question for anyone who can answer

I recently bought my first rx7 it is a 1982 rx7 first gen. I want to replace the stock engine with a 13b tt my question is first is it possible? and second if so how much fabrication will need to be done to it to make this happen?

Anything is possible...

You'll need to fabricate everything. The mounts on the 13B-REW are different (1st gen mounts at the front cover, REW mounts at the rear iron). You'll have to convert to a single turbo because there's no room for the downpipe if you run the stock twins. You'll have to fabricate a downpipe, intercooler setup, make a surge tank for the fuel system with an EFI pump (stock pump is set up for a carb), go to a full standalone EMS, have a custom driveshaft made (you probably want to use the FD or FC TII transmission) and probably a bit of stuff that I'm forgetting.

Then there are the extras; gauges, wheels and tires so you can get the power to the ground, LSD for the same reason, catback, general repair and misc...
