Anyone know of a how to to do this for an 86 S4? I just can't figure out which wire is which because when i turn my key nothing happens to using a multi meter doesn't help. Any comments or suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

I'm curious as to why your multi meter doesn't help though.

 

The ignition is broken, When you turn the key no contact is made and so nothing happens. The only thing i can tell with the multi meter is which line has 12V const.
