Purchased a original 83 GSL with 100k miles but was in storage for 8 years.
we finally got the car out of the storage and the car is perfect. The first thing i was going to knock out were a tune up and cleaning out the carb (don't know if the tune up covers that)
Of course we got the sputering out of the car,im assuming its because it was not moved in so long. thinking the fuel pump needs to get replaced also. anyway what else should i have the mechanic do also? or should i tell him to knock out everything including taking the emissions stuff off? thank guys pics will be up soon

If the car was stored for 8 years improperly, then the entire fuel system will need to be cleaned/replaced. The tank will need to be dropped and cleaned (possibly lined), all fuel lines will need to be flushed (or are rotted to the point where replacement is better), all rubber lines replaced, new filters, and a full carb rebuild.
