PS to Manual Rack

i was wondering if anyone knew a place that could convert the s5 TII rack to a manual rack.I would just buy a manual rack but i heard that the manual one is rather sluggish and that the PS rack has shorter distances lock to lock.Also i really don't know if they made a manual rack that fits a 91 turbo model.

ps to manual steering

I believe if you do a search you can find what you're looking for. There are several threads that give you instructions to do it yourself.

I'm not sure about whether there is an OEM manual equivalent, but if you find yourself needing a rack conversion call Maval.

this interests me too, I have an 86 na that I bought out of someones front yard and i need to figure out what rack to get. I was just going to get a manual, but you say it is sluggish?

There's a very helpful link in the second gen archive.

I believe you can purchase manual racks, however the gearing is alot longer 1:20 vs 1:15.1/1:17.4

well from what i've heard the ps rack is the best for point to point lock,and an fd owner at a recent autocross told me that their are some companies who can do this ps to manual conversion...as far as maval, is that his forum name,how can i contact him if not?
