Problems with Turbo RX-4

Hey RX-7 club!! I'm spankin new here and need some help with my Turbo II RX-4. I put the motor in a long time ago, daily drove it, then parked the car when gas hit 4 bones/gallon. Now after sitting for a couple years, I light it up, runs cherry, but the coolant system builds mad pressure and pops hoses even while the engine is cold!! I'm a just about to yank this motor out, crack it, port it, and stack it, but I want to check if anyone else has any ideas. I think its the rotor housing seal, but its a ton of work to fix if its not the problem. I used to build carb motors way back in the day, but this is my first turbo motor and my knowledge is pretty low, LOL. I threw it in the hole 10 years ago and been driving it since. Thanks for the help in advance!!

LOL, thats how I got my nickname "moorport" I ported every rotary I could get my hands on 16 years ago. I just wanna make sure its not some weird hose or something in this turbo motor.

assuming you've exhausted all other possible causes, you're probably right about it being a coolant seal. does it smoke?

anyway, a few details aside, if you've built rotaries before, then you should be just fine doing the rebuild on this one. the engine itself is the same.

No smoke and it runs like a champ. I'm not really sure what other possibilties there are, thats what I am looking for. I can only think of one thing and seems like the car would smoke or be hard to start.
