problems with my fd

hi
im currently trying to solve a problem with my 95 fd. the other day i was sitting in it just relaxing and when i decided to start driving the car kinda died out. the car is still able to turn on but idles really low, around 500 and it goes up some times to normal, 1000 1200. throttle response is really weak. when driving the boost guage only gets to 0.0 bar
i believe i have a boost leak some where and ive looked around the main parts for leaks, like air intake and intercooler but didnt see anything.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated
i need to get this fixed because i have a lot of parts waiting to be put in it

Try checking your vacuum I've heard a vacuum leak is very common and troublesome

motor wise just a racing exhuast from the down pipe and back and air intake
i believe to be a vacuum problem in the rats nest

I would first check the vaccum line to the wastegate actuator. It would be a little larger than the others.
Pulling off the UIM to access the rat's nest is premature.

could it be the line in front that has the boost pill in it? I had that line fail and was getting the same result. I couldnt think of exactly what line it was but I will try and snap a pic and post up the one I am talking about.

See if you can track down a smoke tester. Once that is hooked up to your intake system you'll see smoke coming out of any bad vacuum lines.

^ Wouldn't (by definition) vacuum prevent smoke from coming out of an open line?
