Question preachers rx-4

i just bought this virgin no modifications whatsoever rx4 automatic from a preacher it's ruff but there is plenty of potential. he swore up and down that it ran when he put it in storage back in 91. so go figure it's not been started in almost 20yrs. ok lets go to my house now i've replaced practically all the electrical system and the fuel lines. the breake lines turned to mush. but thats not my big consern cuz i plan to go to town on this little wankel. i put in an optima battery today, after porring some marvel mystery oil true the carb and the spark plugs. spun it around no grinding noises the preacher had put all the right things in the oil for preservation. engine aint stuck thats my first good thing. i get spark, gas, and electricity. i can smell and see the mystery oil being burnt out the muffler. wont turn on. can anyone help out i plan to keep the engine i heard the old 13b is really strong. it be nice to turn it on befor it gets striped for rebuild. dose anyone has any possible clue what i shoud do. anything will help.
thx . ill put up pics in a few days

When I got my Cosmo it had been sitting for 20 years this is what we did.
The fuel pump had been pulled so we hooked up a spare full pump to a gas can and with a can of starter fluid we got it to start and run, but would not run below 1500rpm.

Can you hear a pop coming out the exhaust as you turn it over by hand? sometimes a motor that has been sittin will suffer from stickly apex seals etc and will take a while to free back up

otherwise a bit of brakeclean or lynx down the carb while turning it over can spring it into life!!!
