The driver's side window on 1987 NA is stuck all the way up and it won't go down. When I press up the window makes a popping noise as if it is trying to go further up than allowable or something.

I'd appreciate a help and please forgive if this problem has been posted before....all I can find in search is cases of the window stuck in down position.
