Possible FD Purchase
Im currently looking at a 93 RX-7 TT. I dont know to much about these cars yet and I was wondering what kind of WHP to expect out of this setup... These are the mods the seller listed, 1/2 BRIDGE PORTED PLATES+2x850cc PRIMARY INJECTORS 2x1680cc SECONDARY INJECTORS ON 2ND FUEL RAIL engine re-built 3mm apexi seals, mild port,forged dowels,everything welded no ebay block off plates etc. ceramic coated/painted engine etc HKS 1,200$ clutch!+ lightweight flywheel. engine torque damper. Intercooler (Apexi) w/ SSQV Blow off valve and hard piping. HKS Downpipe, midpipe, HKS Hi-power catback 4" Non-sequential OEM turbos spec-r "02

Apexi Power FC and commander tuned.
800cc injectors/in tank ump with swirl etc
HKS tunnel ram intake and generic filters.

I'd recommend you start by reading the 3rd Gen FAQ thread stickied in this forum. Especially the buyer's guide.
If you are new to RX7s, I'd walk away from that car. It is pretty seriously modified and you will be chasing your tail trying to troubleshoot and fix it. Plus I hate bridge ports on a street car. Besides the drop in low RPM power and iffy driveability, you'll never pass emissions testing.
A bridgeport and stock twins are an odd combination as well.

What's bad about the setup? Just curious.... If I were to get it I would be going single turbo quikly. Just trying to learn something, I've done plenty of motor work just never delt with a rotary.thanks!

Bridgeport makes it suck up more air and generally rougher idle, thus requires a higher idle making its drivability on the street very poor. The stock twins can't keep up with the porting, etc. Pretty much take these guys advice and stay away. And if you're after straight numbers at the wheels you should probably consider a different, "easier" to modify car, not say fd's can't put down some power. Fd's take lots of money and the learning curve is pretty big (I'm learning the hard way and I can't imagine trying to learn how to work on this with that set up)

Basically, the car is either bridge ported or it's not. It's either a mild port or a bridge port. The fact that both are listed is fairly scary if the current owner doesn't know what he/she has.....
As mentioned, bridge ports are not typically ideal for street cars due to the idling issues, increased exhaust noise, and terrible fuel consumption. Do you have a link to the add for the car?
