is it possible to run a turbo on the weber 48? I have a modified 13b with the weber carb setup. Does anyone make a turbo set up for this?

it is possible to make a carb'd engine turboed. you have to make a sealed box over the inlet on the carb. that way the pressurized air doesnt escape.

Rotary Shack does custom carb hats for turbo applications. These kinds of setups are few and far between, it would probably be best to ask them about your application.

Do a quick search for "boost prep weber" and you should find the info. As I recall, you need copper floats, a rising rate FPR and a plenum.
