Pretty self explanitory, got a misfire taken care of today and as i reved it a bit in the streets it " farted " on me. me and my mechanic check for air leaks, none present. after we check and check and check we come to a conclusion, either my 6 ports arent opening or my secondary fuel injectors arent kicking in. * notes * this only occurs if either i get on the gas pedal hard at any time during my driving and i just swapped the entire stock exhaust w/ a straight pipe

 

just need to know what will make them open, what are effects of them not opening, and symptoms that from bad secondary fuel injectors

It's rare for secondary injectors to just not work.

you need back pressure from your exhaust, on your old stock exhaust there should be a line running back up to your lower intake manifold if im not mistakin

 

'87 GXL & yeah, there was one by the pre-cat. i was told you can manually leave them open though. any info on that ?
