so im new to the rx7 world but i picked up a 93 r1 rx7 for 3 grand from a friend now there is a problem the car cut out at 5000 rpm. the car has a air pump delete and a different vacume set up and other then that the car is stock. i was driving home the other day and my odometer witch did not work started working and the car ran like brand new. But when i shut the car off the odometer did not come back on and went back to the 5000 rpm cut in second gear. so today i was checking my injectors to make sure they are good wich they are but as i was playing around my car beeped a few times went into the car and the odometer was back on but shut the car of and back on and it did not come back what could my problem be pleas help this is driving me crazy

i dont think so runs to good no miss idles great 800 on the dot drives like its brand new just cuts out at 5000 rpm only in second gear the car has 73000 k on it jdm the guy i got it off of was going threw a divorce and had to get rid of it
