NY Plan of attack for the next 12 months

Hey guys / gals, figured I'd finally get off my tail and post in the Newb Tech section to see how viable my currents thoughts are on building up a 13B.

First off I have a decent amount of experience in the piston world but zilch on the rotary side of the house (that is unless beating the crap out of some early 80's rx7's with my brother in a field counts). With that being said I'm going to be building up a single turbo FD based rotary for my next project that I'm guessing (hoping) might be done this time next year. Before I get into it lemme put emphasis that this engine is being built for street/strip/possibly some auto crossing (absolute max RPM 8-8.5k).

*Note - Building to run on E85

Irons: FD
Housings: FD
Rotors: S5 n/a 9.7:1 comp
Intake Manifold: Stock
Fuel system: Still researching and could def use some recommendations for E85
(early signs seems like 4x2k for primaries and secondaries should do the trick)
ECU: Again still researching but going to need rock solid timing control
Turbo: GT35R
Exhaust Manifold: Custom due to chassis
WG: Tial 44
BoV: something non rice-cakish if at all possible
Boost: 15 psi (with hopes of going 25 if the engine can take it)

Be mating this to an FD 5 speed with a decent clutch and TII rear diff center section.

Not looking for max HP on a Dyno queen, looking for street manners and good power from 3k on (main reason for the 9.7:1 compression and GT35R).

I appreciate any and all constructive criticism.

Happy Hunting,
Bob
