Pfc sensor check

I have FFE duel rails, so no fuel temp sensor, I have Power fc ems. I see my mop/wiring is going bad or it messed up already. I have read that pfc doesn't care about those two things,. Is it true?
Thanks

Correct. If you still had the stock ECU you would have a CEL (for one of three possible codes) and the car would be in limp mode. However the PFC doesn't generate CELs or have a limp mode state. But while the PFC doesn't care, your engine does. You should be pre-mixing unless or until you replace the OMP.

Does the indicated voltage change with rpm?

Not certain anymore, but I thought the sensor was suppose to default to wide open (IIRC 5v) when it had a problem. But in any event if it's shaded there's something wrong.
