Pettit Racing BOV

Hi,

I've been searching for instructions on how to install a PR bov, without any success though.

Could someone tell me how to fit the bov on an fd as the orientation of the the PR one is different to the oem bov

Thanks!

Thank you for your reply, but this doesn't help, the pettit racing one is also a recirculating one and should have a stockish fit

I wasn't familiar with that BOV, but looked it up on their site. It's not going to have "a stockish fit". Looks as though you'll have to source a short 90 deg. section of hose if you want to route it back to the airbox. It's not a diaphragm design though, so if it vents to atmosphere until you get the hose it won't hurt anything.

Hi there, just got a message from PR themselves, as sgtblue said, it just vents to atmosphere, with the 90° opening facing the ground
