Peter Farrell Parts

Hey All. First time FD owner. I recently found a good deal on a montego blue fd. I'm wondering if anyone knows about the quality of "Peter Farrell Supercars" parts. The only information I could find is from around 2004-5. From what I can tell it came with PFs intercooler/airbox/boost gauge/downpipe/catback. Just looking for some insight on these parts and if in fact they are "Peter Farrell."

Yep. Not certain about the gauge, but the IC, duct and intake are PFS Supercars.
The company went belly-up some years back. But IMO a well designed stock mount IC and sturdy duct.
The only thing to consider about the package is the intake box. It scavenges air from the duct just like the stock airbox. While that provides good ambient air from outside the engine bay, it also reduces pressure on the front of the IC and reduces it's efficiency. Good news is, like the stock airbox, it can be opened from the bottom to source some of it's air from below, coming in from the nose. It's easy and invisible.
The only other thing I don't like about it was the location of the bracket for the AST. It assumes you'll use the stock plastic AST like you have, and locating a more reliable metal one is difficult. I ended up deleting the AST in favor of a S5 FC filler to perform that function.
