Overheating????????

So about a couple weeks ago my fc started over heating. I wa racing a bike on yhe freeway when i first notice it. It was really to much about normal so i pulled off an exit and let it cool down. Checked to see if there was coolant and just visually checked everything. Didnt notice anything strange. So i drove it home. It didnt over heat then so i just blamed it on the heat. About 4 or 5 days later it did it again when when i was cruising around with my team. In between that time i gave thr car a royal drift beating without that issue. But everything checks out :/ now its very inconsistant. Ill drive it and it will Overheat then it will cool off without me driving anydifferent. The fan seems fine. Im pretty sure the thermostat is fine after following the steps in mu repair manual. But one odd thin is some how the belt for the waterpump got chewed up. The belts only 4 or 5 months old wich is beside the point but do you think the belt could be the problem. Maybe at higher rpms itsslipping and not properly spinning the pulley. Everything else in the cooling system seems fine. The only thing left is to see if my rad is clogged but i dont think it is. Hope you guy can help. Thanks.

Start by replacing the belt. Make sure that you get the correct one, and install it correctly. A slipping belt definitely fits your description of the issue, especially since you mentioned that it is getting chewed up.
