I was looking at a 93 FD to buy the other day and the passenger door does not open from the outside. I looked at the locking mechanism on the door and when i life on the handle i can see the cable moving up and down.

I've read that its a common issue on the FDs that the handle mechanism tend to fail, but if i see the cable move up and down, maybe the cable is just disconnected?
any input would be appreciated
