Order of Operations Turbo ii Rebuild
Order of Operations Turbo ii Rebuild
Hey guys. So as I am researching and looking over old builds, I was hoping to see what the consensus on the order of operations for a rotary engine rebuild are. And also what are the major items/services that need to take place? I.e. in the piston world, decking the head, dingleball the cylinders, plastigauge the bearing etc...
Looking for the equivalent for the 13b turbo. Well, less haggard then dingleballs and plastigauges.
Essentially I want to assembly this engine on my own, but major items I will send out for.
What are some good shops that can do port work and refresh of the internals and rotating assembly, where i can then do final assembly at home?

The FSM goes through each step of disassembly and inspection of the parts: http://www.rotaryheads.com/PDF/2nd_g.../01_engine.pdf

Are there some common refreshs steps that are no brainers to have done to wear parts?
