well its on to the next turbo 2 for me to look at now (first one i found was junk)so i found another one -only bad thing is this one is now a 4 hour drive!and its an 88 body i would prefer and 87 learning rapidly about these things more every day even though this is my second one --found out you could get these cars sun roof delete and i wish i could find one!also the 88 has 16 inch wheels instead of the 15 inch ones --hey ??? or is it just the turbo 2 option that has the 16 inch wheels? my 87 had 15 inchers but it wasnt a turbo 2--also found a 2nd gen with a big block in it --whoever owns it cut the front crossmember up bad +it looks dangerous----well later all --jason

All S4 bodies are the same, there is no difference between 87 and 88 except in stuff that bolts on. For example, TIIs came with heavier sway bars, bigger wheels, better brakes (when compared to some models of NA), etc. But the bodies themselves aren't different.
