AR which one?

Hey guys, i just got into rx7's and i had a question. i have an 88 TII with bad rear cv joints, but everything else is in decent condition. i also have an 89 TII with no motor but everything else is fine on it. would i be better off just swappin the motor over to the s5 or swappin the rear end from the s5 to the s4? any help would be greatly apreciated. i've tried searchin through the forums but i havent found anything on this particular subject

Changing rear end parts is 10x easier than swapping an engine. Especially if the engine is from another series car.

I say get some new or used axles and put them in... keep your shell for a future project or possibly sell it as a roller.

ok, thank you guys for the help. trying to get my new project off to a good start, plan on making it a daily with some track use. going to set my sights at making between 3-400hp with this. dont want to get too crazy with my first one. once i get more knowledgeable about 7's might make my other one into a track only car
