off car turbo on na engine?
rather get me a new turbo II car all ready to go then pay for all the nonsense for a 6 port turbo. id love to do it but i dont even make enough money to break even. im a contractor and they screw me over from getting paid for up to a month so sometimes just keeping gas in the car is hard enough. a real turbo would be nice but in order to use a turbo i need like 1000$ worth of used crap. sometimes i wish some guy would just sell a 6 port turbo kit(maybe used off some turbo II somewhere) and to think i dont even have a shop i do all my shiz in the drive-way. either way i look at it i dont think i no enough about them to even try. specially with a brand new engine(no point of blowing up trying to attain a few lbs of boost. but yea in the long run it would be much easier
please dont waste your money canonize-ryda. If your gonna turbo your car do it right, dont go for a cheap alternative. Dont go cheap on parts get the good stuff or else it wont last. Just drive your car the way it is for now and then save up when you have enough money either a t2 swap.

The fan in the server rack behind me moves about 280CFM as well.
But the thing is, at what pressure? All those little fans may move a lot of air, but cannot create much pressure. Why? Because they don't move enough air. They are fans, not compressors. There is a huge and fundamental difference in design between the two. Have you looked at the design of a turbocharger?
That appears to be a marine bilge blower.
yea funny u say marine. that was my instant thought when i got it. but hey it was free. i will prob remove it. just playing around with little add ons. and o yea i never cheap out besides a banjo bolt(replacing one day with real damper) i just like to work on cars so much, that doing anything is amazingly entertaining. i have rebuilt most of my new project just a 300zx i paid 150 cash for. just need to get a title. she cleans up real nice and ironically my old 87 maxima i have sitting has the same exact vg30e engine. so now i have a lot more project on hand with spending no money i have all the spare parts i need for my 300. (which allows for more time to save up money for a turbo charger and a streetport.) and since imma do it myselfer im going to pick up some turbo books and start studying. o yea one more thing does the rx-7 tII turbo hook into the exhuast? from what ive been reading most do. thanks for all ur inputs guys

wow thanks for all that helps majorly. i got to looking atbilges and yup itsthe exact same bilge as on this american boating site. says turbo 3000 on it same as mine. same thing and it is a engine compartment fan.. lol o well i really am understanding this turbo deal. thanks arron for much enlighting me to turbos. also thanks RR88(that born in 88?)
Good call on the bilge pump. Companies love to write "turbo!" on things.
Another thing about these "electric turbos" is that they're really trying to be a type of supercharger. It would have to be exhaust driven to be a turbo. Here's a comparison between the two approaches: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/question122.htm.
And my name has 88 in it because my car was born in '88. I'm much more ancient than that (26

o and like i just found out my 50th ae 300zx is a dealer knock off. not a REAL 50th ae. like ur 88 isnt eh(i think this is the 10th ae year). i was so disapointed that the real one has a turbo and every feature avaible. mine just has the 50th ae bagdes. well once again thanks guys. o yea one more thing is that e ram supercharger the same thing? i find alot of em in my modified mag. only does 1 psi for 400 dollars so i prob will never try this lol. RR88 how do i buy this off this site from others? do i use paypal or just use a credit card? i want to find someone with all the mainly required stock turbo parts. anyways thanks.
yea nevr passed my mine to use it just to ask
thx o off topic real quick.. what is a vertical lifting device and how can i mimick one(make my own). its needed to lift my engine on my 300zx just a little to change the oil pan gasket i have to remove the suspension cross member and lift it somehow(all hoses and everything but motor mounts connected) any input is awesome and sry for not rethreading just didnt think it needs it own thread.
