Angry Odometer not working

I just recently purchased a 93 rx7 and when i bought the car the guy told me it had 70 thousand miles on but the odometer was broke and he told me that all i would have to do is get a new speedo or get mine fixed, so i called around and i was told that if mine isnt repairable you cant access the mileage. I really need some help with this does anyone know what i could do.. i sent mine to my local radio shack and he said that to him the odometer looked unrepairable and i also do not have any proof that there is 70 thousand on the car... this really has me stressed! please help

Look in the 3rd gen For sale section Here on the Forum..Put up a WTB(want to buy) ad.then Sit back and let people Pm you !!
You should be able to get a whole cluster.Cheap.
As far as Stressed out.WHY?..
You already Committed yourself to Buying the car on the Guy's word that the car has 70 Thousand Miles on it..It is Your Car now,so Don't sweat it!!
The Engine could have 100K on it,but really the Mileage doesn't matter as long as the engine is Running and shows Healthy compression.
