NV o2 Sensor White? Normal?

1991 NA-T s5 vert

Ok heres the scoop, I removed my o2 sensor this morning, and I noticed that it was a frosty white color. I have no idea on how it gets that way, Im thinking because its all the chemicals or composites in the fuel? and im not premixing.

Anyways thinking since its white i may be running lean, but I think that kind of logic only refers to the spark plugs, not the o2 sensor. If anybody has any knowledge on this topic please lmk.
