can someone please take a picture and show me where the o2 sensor connector is? The guy i bought my car off of straight piped in and isnt running an o2 sensor. i really dont want to drive the car without it.

It's not a modern car that uses O2 sensors extensively. The O2 sensor is only used when cruising to adjust mixture to approx. 14.7:1. It has no other purpose.

The connector comes out from under the back side of the intake manifold, near the EGR.

 

Is it same for 89 i assume?

 

its an 87, i made this user name a couple years back when i had an 88 n/a. found the o2 sensor. apparently it was just grounded out. all better now tho, new o2 installed. thanks guys
