AZ Non Functioning Tachometer

Brand New FB owner, My Tach worked twice and I don't understand this system. I have asked many but No One knows the solution. I have a Mint 1985 1st Gen FB GSL.
The Tach worked for about 3 minutes the first time i saw it go up. I took it up to 7k and it BEEPED like is should. Can anyone share the issues with these. Ignitors and what wire where on the coil? I have read alot on here but non of it makes any sense to a rookie. Thanks in Advance for the help.
If there are any Pics that would be super helpful.

Welcome to the board.

You will want to check to see if the trailing coil and/or igniter are working.
