No spark to leading plugs 1980 12a

I am justing completing a rebuild of my 1980 RX7.
I am getting no "spark" to the leading plugs (and now no tachometer function). Trailing plugs are OK.
I replaced the leading coil, leading ignitor, coil/plug wires, distributor cap and rotor, and spark plugs.
Same problem. Any suggestions or recommendations.
Thanks

If you have replaced the leading coil and ignitor with known good units, then I would start going over your wiring. Sometimes a small error will result in the leading ignitor trying to run the trailing ignition, and other stuff like that.

You might want to disconnect the trailing ignitor, then make sure that the trailing plugs are not firing. If they are, then you have your wiring swapped around.

Best of luck...

Thanks for the advice. I checked all the ignition wiring carefully and cleaned all contacts. switched igniters and coils, and have confirmed all connections are correct and only the trailing plugs are firing, indicating it is not an igniter or coil.
I am assuming it must be the leading pick up coil on the distributor or the ignition control module (gold colored with T8T00271 on it) that the two igniters attach to.
What do you think? Thanks!!
