Exclamation no power or acceleration

i have a 1988 gxl and it only has 95,000 mile motor seems to be good. Iam new to this type of engine (13B), it also has a 3" single exhaust. SOOOO my problem is that after the warm up my idle drops low like 500 rpm and it starts to bogg. I did notice that i am missing the air duck tube between the air box and bumper. And no power at all on acceleration. it feels like when i gun the gas the car is not going anywhere. i have been in a rx7 just like mine before and it was all stock and it was ten times faster. I dont know iam lost. If you have any ideas that would be great. i changed the plugs and air filter and fuel filter and it got a little better but still the same problem.

First thing first, do a compression test. Does it bog at around, say, 3500 RPM?

Minimum spec in the FSM is 85 psi per chamber, but in practice you'd like to see more like 100+ psi. For example, my engine has 110-120 psi per rotor face. It's also important that you test with a fully charged battery, with the throttle open and with the engine warmed up to get the most accurate numbers.
