Ok guys. I have a AE the previous owner did a few mods. He removed the power steering and the a/c but he left the compressor to the a/c unit and all piping and bracket. Is their a reason why or was it just being lazy. Thanks guys any info will be greatly appreciated

Some of that stuff is a big pain in the keester to get at,.
The hose near the battery, you need to get at the bracket under the battery tray that holds that hose on..
That means you may snap the bolts in the frame that hold the tray, break the tray or CUT the damn hose off and call it a day!
I took my A/C out except for the Interior stuff under the dash. The crazy thing was,I just had the WHOLE interior out 2 days before and put the dash back IN before I looked in the engine bay and said"wtf?.A/C?..NO,taking it out"!!!
I just had enough and called it a rush job I should have taken time on!
