There will be wires running to the tops of the strut towers & a set of switches in the center console.

But from what I hear, it's a pretty useless feature. Sports car suspension should always be stiff.

Well, I just checked and my car doesnt have AAS. Kinda glad to see that-but it goes against all the info on this website. Every list of factory options that I have seen state that AAS is standard on the GXL model. My car is going to be a daily driver in nice weather and it will see plenty of track time on the weekends, so I need a suspension to suit both.

I am pretty sure there is a little switch on your center console that says Sport and Regular(or something like that). If you have it when you flip the switch it will stiffen your suspension. And like they said there should also be wire running from you struts. My buddy had it on his 87 GXL.

Most of them are seized up and don't work anyway.

If the struts were ever changed they were probably changed with non AAS struts as the only AAS struts available for the car are stock and they tend to be more expensive.
