Newbie in Japan. Opinions welcome.Couple of questions.
Just a couple things on my plate:
1. What are the preferred oils/lubrication cycles for the 1994 FD?
2. Are there any good vendors that ship APO?
3. Is there an extensive DIY section for simple yet effective modding?
4. What is the most trusted RX7 brand/vendor of aftermarket parts?
Thanks again for the help and support. Happy Wrenching!!!

When shining upon #4, there are many factors you have to put in place . For example , what type I performance part are you talking about ? What model of rx7? What type of setup you are shooting for , and that fact that many people have had different experiences with different vendors and name brands depending on what their goals were .

For question #3 , yes there is . This form is full of threads that go in depth on many various types of DYI modding such as aero , hybrid turbo's, LSD, ecu and wire-ups , and almost anything else under the sun. If for some reason there is not a thread that has already been made about a question you may have or if u cannot find the one you are looking for you can just ask and there are many good knowledgable people on here that are willing to help you .

For number 4, you can generally do no wrong with Racing Beat parts. They make many of the preferred exhaust and suspension parts for rotaries. For OEM parts, I usually go to MazdaTrix. They're pricey, but they have new parts that sometimes can't be found anywhere else. If you're working on a RHD (I assume you are), then the go-to place is RHDJapan. I believe it's entirely based in Japan (the default currency is yen, though it can be switched to dollars), and they carry a huge selection of OEM and aftermarket parts for the RHD models. There are many other places to use, but these are the ones I use most often.

^Not sure what happened to the rest of my post. What I had intended to say about #3 was that the entire forum is a resource for DIY modding. Search with related terms in the 3rd Gen. Section and read. The other thing I suggest is to read through EVERY FAQ and Sticky, get a copy of the Factory Service Manual (free downloads are available) and educate yourself.
As far as trusted vendors, any that are sponsors of this forum would be fine. They're listed under the "Vendor" link at top of each page. There are others, but that should get you started.
