TX New to the rotary world

Hello everyone well i have a 09 Mazda RX 8 and wasn't aware of the maintenance i would have to be doing but so far i'm liking it. Just recently I changed out my whole ignition system and starting her up is a lot faster. But now my problem is now she dies after being driven for a while. when i start to slow down to turn or come to a complete stop. She doesn't stay idling. So feed back would be appreciated on how to fix this problem. Glad to be apart of this forum.

The stalling you describe doesn’t sound like anything that would be unique to a rotary. And this is an RX7 forum. Still, there are a few members here that have experience with the 8 and they might chime in. But you might have the best model specific luck over at rx8club.com. I’d search terms like ‘dashpot’ and ‘throttle position sensor’ .
