New member needs help!

Hello all!

I recently bought an 1994 r2 , and I'm having a few issues.

I have tried the search feature and I really couldn't find any of my issues directly related to my car.

History- I test drove the car, everything ran fine and I drove it hard during the test drive. It felt solid so I put a down payment on it and came back a couple days later.I drove the car around again and it felt just like it did before on the test drive. I drove it for around 4 hours before I made the 2 hour trip home. I took it easy on the highway trip home with only one or two pulls.

About 40 miles from home I was starting to climb a big hill when all of a sudden it began to shudder hard like an ignition cut. It does it in every single gear, any time I hit positive pressure from around 2.7k till about 4k. Then it clears up. But anytime I hit any type of pressure, it bucks and I always let off. I do not want to damage my new ride!

I changed the plugs because they were horrible, and it didn't make a difference.

The car is pretty much stock minus a few bolt on's
Pfc
supra fuel pump
Full exhaust
Pf intake and intercooler kit
plx wideband

The body has 140k and the engine was rebuilt around 6k ago.

Any direction would be wonderful!

I was told to test the fuel pressure, the leading coil pack, and go over the harness with a fine tooth comb. I will be testing these idea's out tomorrow.

Thanks,

Ben

My issue randomly went away last night. Wiring issue? How many miles did your fuel pump have on it? What fuel pump did you have? Was it a lose connection?

If it happens again, it could be wiring or the fuel pump could be giving out.
