I am new to the rotery engine but i have been reading ALOT about them on the itnernet and how they work.

are there any advice you guys could give me to help upkeep the engine and make it last? its a new engine so i want to start it out good

also, i have read that putting 2 cycle oil with your engine oil at every oil change is a good thing, is this true?

All feedback is apprecated

Welp, so much for that car, the ad has been pulled.

Welcome aboard anyway, Chris, and thanks for registering!

Welcome Chris,

When I was looking at purchasing my RX7 I browsed through the FAQ section and read up on a bunch of different stuff. There is a lot of information regarding maintenance and what not under the FAQ section for the particular generation of RX7 your looking at. As per the 2 stroke oil it is usually added into the fuel tank, try to do this before you add fuel that way the fuel going into the tank will help mix everything up.

Good Luck and when you find a RX7 get ready to hold on!
Oh and get ready to do lots of work on it :p

Hey guys,
so heres an update, i found a different rx7 in my city for a lot cheaper
here is the link
http://edmonton.kijiji.ca/c-cars-veh...AdIdZ202689560

i talked to the guy and he is willing to let it go for 7g, he is also a collector of rx7's and is only selling cause he is moving.
i know that 130km on the orginal engine is quiet a bit but he has told me he takes really good care of it (checking oil, new sythentic oil evevry 5000km ect)

i am going to be going and looking at it today, so im just wondering when i go and look at it what sort of things should i be lookig for/listening for?

and any thoughts are apprecated also

here is the link to the blue rx7 i was looking at i guess the other link didnt work xD
